About Me
I’m currently a senior in high school and plan to study Mechanical Engineering at Washtenaw Community College. Throughout high school, I’ve challenged myself by taking four AP classes: Government, Spanish, Psychology, and U.S. History, which helped me build strong critical thinking and time management skills while pushing me outside of my comfort zone academically.
Outside of academics, I’ve developed a strong passion for both art and design through classes like drawing and painting, as well as CAD. Art has always been an important part of who I am because it allows me to be creative and express ideas in different ways. CAD helped me discover how creativity can connect with engineering and design, which is one of the reasons I became interested in mechanical engineering in the first place.
I enjoy designing creative solutions to problems and thinking about how ideas can be improved or redesigned. I believe my artistic background gives me a unique perspective when approaching engineering challenges, especially when it comes to design and innovation. As I continue my education, I’m excited to keep growing both technically and creatively while exploring opportunities that combine engineering, design, and problem-solving.
